OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

2018
Shoebox Collection Week
November 12 - 19, 2018

Drop Shoeboxes off at Wesley Hall (Classroom)

FROM:  Monday - Saturday:  9:00-12:00 Noon  &  Wednesday Evening: 5:00-7:00pm
                    Sunday: 9:00 - 10:00am
                    Monday (11/20):  9:00-10:00am

HOW TO PACK YOUR SHOE BOX:
1.   SHOE BOX.  Use an empty shoe box (standard size, please) or small plastic container.  You can wrap the box lid (separately), but wrapping is not required.  Most important pray for the child who will receive your gift.

2.  BOY or GIRL.  Determine whether your gift will be for:
                           boy or a girl  &
 child's age category
                                                    2-4, 5-9 or 10-14 years

Use the appropriate boy/girl label from the brochure. Mark the correct age category on the label, and tape the label to the top of your box.  If additional  labels are needed, you can download from www.samaritanspurse.org or make copies of the brochure label.

3.  FILL WITH GIFTS.  Fill the box with a variety of gifts that will bring delight to a child.  (see gift suggestions below).

4.  INCLUDE YOUR DONATION.  Please donate $9 or more for each shoe box you prepare to help cover shipping and other project costs.  You can give online through the EZ-Give method, or you can use the donation envelope attached to the brochure.  If you or your family are preparing more than one shoe box, please make a combined donation.  If making a donation online, you can follow your shoe box to it's destination.  www.samaritanspurse.org/ezgive

5.  DROP OFF.  Place a rubber band around each closed shoe box, attach label and turn into Marcia Schneider - Wesley Hall (classroom) during the week of November 12th-19h.
NOTE: Drop Off on Monday, November 19th no later than 10:00am
(Boxes are loaded and ready for delivery to a truck in Evansville area - if you fail to arrive before the deadline time your boxes will not be accepted and you will have to transport them or mail them yourself.)
